What a good visa photo looks like

The face photo is the document we most often ask people to retake. Here is the size, and the mistakes we see every day.

Do I need a visa to visit Dubai?
It depends on your passport. GCC citizens need no visa; many other passports, including the UK, US and EU, get a free visa on arrival. Everyone else needs a visa before they fly. Use the nationality check to see which applies to you.

Are you the government?
No. We are a private, licensed visa assistance company in Dubai, Brillsmac Consultants and Tourism L.L.C-FZ (licence 2648704.01). We check your documents, prepare and submit your application and support you until the visa arrives. You can also apply directly on the official UAE portal, u.ae, for less.
Getting started
Which visa should I choose?
Pick the length that covers your whole stay. For a stay of up to a month, the 30-day tourist visa covers it. If you will leave and re-enter the UAE, for example for a trip to Oman, choose a multiple-entry visa. For a layover of up to four days, the 96-hour transit visa is enough.
Getting started
What documents do I need?
For most visas: a recent face photo on a white background, a scan of your passport bio page and a photo of your passport cover. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date. Transit visas also need a confirmed onward ticket.

What are the photo rules?
A recent colour photo, taken in the last 6 months, on a plain white background, in passport-photo size (35 × 45 mm). Show your head and the top of your shoulders, with your face filling most of the photo. Look straight at the camera with a neutral expression, eyes open and mouth closed. No glasses, caps or filters. A religious head covering is fine if your whole face is visible.

How long does it take?
Standard processing takes 2–3 working days once we have your payment and correct documents. With express processing, we aim for a decision within 24 working hours. Public holidays and extra checks by immigration can add time, so apply at least a week before you fly if you can.

What is express processing?
An optional extra, +$50 per traveller on top of the visa price. Your application is prioritised and we aim for a decision within 24 working hours of correct documents.
Processing
What happens after my visa is approved?
We email your eVisa as a PDF. Print a copy or keep it on your phone. Airlines may ask to see it at check-in, and immigration can check it on arrival.
Processing
What does the price include?
From $150 (14-day tourist and 96-hour transit) to $350 (60-day multiple-entry), per traveller, including the UAE government fee and our service fee. There are no hidden charges. Express processing is +$50 per traveller. One all-in price per traveller, covering the UAE government fee and our service fee. You’ll see the exact amount after a quick sign-in, before you pay. Payment & refunds
Can I cancel and get a refund?
Cancel before we submit and we refund what you paid, minus a $50 handling fee per application. After we submit, or if the visa is refused, there’s no refund.
Payment & refunds
When does my visa start, and when must I leave?
Enter the UAE within 60 days of the issue date shown on your eVisa. Your stay, for example 30 days, is counted from the day you enter, not the day the visa is issued. There is no grace period: leave by the last day of your stay or extend before it ends.
